FAST is a standardized functional screening tool that provides:
• Agnostic software to assist with determination of level of care appropriateness
• To be completed when determining appropriate level of care; new referrals, annually to meet regulatory requirements,
  with resident change of condition, or per facility protocol
• Standardized numerical rating system for Assisted Livings to assist with determining county or commercial contract rates
  and/or private party rates
• Recommended staffing pattern based on facility and/or unit acuity
